ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Colquitt County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a man who crashed into a patrol car during a chase in a stolen truck.

A deputy spotted the stolen pickup around 1:13 AM Tuesday morning on Hallmark Drive heading into Moultrie.

It initially was a low-speed pursuit, but deputies say the driver sped up when he turned onto Dunn Road and started speeding through stop signs.

The driver intentionally turned the truck into the patrol car on Thigpen Trail causing the deputy to spin out.

The suspect jumped out and ran off into a field and wasn't located. Investigators say he's an Hispanic man who was wearing a dark T-shirt and beige shorts.
