ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State quarterback Stanley Jennings is the winner of the first SIAC player of the week this season.

Jennings threw for three touchdowns in the Golden Rams season opening win at Kentucky State.

Running back Robert Welton is the SIAC's newcomer of the week.

The Rams have a bye week.

Head coach Mike White says the team will resume practice on Wednesday with the home opener September 11th against Clark Atlanta.
