Three Marines deploying to Afghanistan

News release from the MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS BASE

Albany, Ga. – Three Marines attached to Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany are scheduled to depart from the Southwest Georgia Regional Airport in Albany at 11:40 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, for service in Afghanistan.

The Marines, part of the Marine Corps Community Services, are designated to deploy for up to one year in support of the ongoing efforts in Afghanistan.
