Cordele-- Two Crisp County deputies are fired for having sex with a 16-year-old Cordele girl.

Although the sex was consensual and legal, Sheriff Donnie Haralson says the events are certainly a "moral issue" and that the "integrity of the Sheriff's office needs to be protected."

Willie Graham and Curtis Luden had sex with the 16-year-old while off-duty. One encounter involved just one of the men, another time both men were there. The girl's mother filed a complaint with the Sheriff's office on Memorial Day.

An outside investigation conducted by the District Attorney's office and the GBI concluded that nothing criminal had gone on between the girl and the officers. Both Graham and Luden were veteran officers, having worked for the Sheriff's Department for more than eight years.
