Grady County - An elderly woman whose family says she has Alzheimer's is missing. Seventy-six-year-old Gladys Cooper of Whigham was last seen Sunday afternoon around three wearing a white church dress.

Cooper told relatives she was going to a church ushers meeting at Piney Grove Church, which never took place. Cooper's home is just outside the Whigham City limits on Whigham Attapulgus Road in Grady County.

Ms. Cooper should be driving a 1995 White Ford Explorer, bearing Georgia handicap tag #7704F. She is 5' 3" and weighs 135 pounds, and has a mole on her left jaw area near her ear.

If you have any information, call Investigator Steve Clark of the Grady Co. Sheriff's Office at 229-377-5200.
