Albany - A college student joins the race for City Commissioner Ward 4. 25 year-old, Albany native, Terrance Kennedy is no newcomer to politics. He ran for Mayor at just 21 years-old. He says the city's youth and young adults are being overlooked by the government. "The Commission often overlooks issues facing young people, such as recreation and unemployment. I plan to focus on decreasing the unemployment rate. Albany has competent workers, I want to help them find a job," said Kennedy.

Kennedy is majoring in Political Science at Darton College. He will run against former commissioner Joanne Pope for the seat currently held by Bo Dorough. Dorough has not said whether he will run again come November.
