BERRIEN COUNTY, GA (WALB) –Berrien County authorities recovered $10,000 in stolen construction tools, furniture, and metal.

Authorities say it's part of a theft ring that's been operating for months.

One man is in jail Tuesday, but the investigation isn't over.

A Berrien County meth bust put this man in jail back in march. You may remember this face. Tuesday night 47-year old Jerry McClention is back in jail.

"We are looking to expand this investigation to knock out this theft ring that we've had going since Februray or March of this year," said Investigator Mike Register.

This is video of the thousands of dollars in construction tools including drills, copper, and furniture authorities found in Berrien County in the last couple of weeks.

Authorities say McClention made a living by stealing. He'd take items like scrap metal and sell it.

McClention is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, theft by taking and burglary.

"Just keep an eye on your things,"said Investigator Regina Wilkerson. "Take pictures serial numbers we need those things to ID items that were taken."

Authorities say more arrests could be made. And when the investigation is completed many burglaries and theft cases could be solved.

Authorities are working to get the stolen property back to the owners.
