BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) –Bainbridge Public Safety officers have made an arrest in connection to the stabbing death of Shorty Loredo.
31-year Avelino Morales is charged with aggravated assault for his involvement in a fight that lead to Loredo's death.
Authorities say Morales lived with Loredo in the Fleming Street house where he was stabbed to death on Friday.
Two other men were taken into custody for questioning but have not been charged.
Bainbridge authorities along with US Marshals are still searching for 48-year old Francisco Resendez for murder. Resendez is a Hispanic man, 5-foot-7 with black hair and a black goatee. If you've seen him, call the police immediately.
