Killer pleads guilty

AMERICUS, GA (WALB) – An Andersonville woman decided to plead guilty to first degree murder rather than go to trial. Mary Beth Rogers was sentenced to life in prison for killing Demetrius Boone. He was shot at a house in Andersonville in September 2007. His body was found in a Macon County creek. Rogers was arrested 16 months later.
