BREAKING NEWS: Sex offender now in police custody - WALB.com, Albany News, Weather, Sports

A registered sex offender accused of molesting a 13-year-old girl last week is now in police custody. 

Investigators were searching for 32-year-old Thomas Stone.  Around 7 o'clock Monday night, Stone was hold up inside an abandoned apartment at the Enclave off Oglethorpe Blvd.  He was taken into custody after a standoff with police.
