TC Central straps up for season

By Shayne Wright  - bio | email

The TC central football team has lost only five games in two years under head coach Bill Shaver. Last year's region winner will return big number 99 Ray Drew on defense and on offense running the good old option set will be Eric Dodson, he will be handing off to the Jacket's leading rusher Curtis Brooks who will start for his 3rd straight year.

Also helping out will be James Davis.  Head coach Bill Shaver says he hopes the backfield will cut down on the fumbles they suffered last week in their scrimmage.

Shaver said "In our group work they're always going hard and fast, trying to show the young guys the right way to practice and they are both kind of mirror images of each other. And of course our qb is the kind of qb that we like, he can throw the ball well but more importantly he can run the option."

TC will open up against Thomasville on the 27th
