Stillwater, Okla. Kevin Kisner and David Denham of the Georgia men's golf team were named Honorable Mention All-Americans by Ping and the Golf Coaches Association of America on Friday night. In addition, Ryan Hybl was honored as one of the Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars.
Kisner, a freshman from Aiken, S.C., paced the Bulldogs with a 72.2 scoring average this season -- matching the 20th-best figure in school history. He finished in the Top 10 in six of the Bulldogs' 14 tournaments this season.
Denham, a sophomore from Tifton, followed Kisner with a 72.34 scoring
average. Denham was the Bulldogs' top finisher at the NCAA Championships this week.
Hybl, a junior from Colbert, is a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection. He recently was given the UGA Athletic Association's Dick Copas Award for leadership and he is a recipient of the Ramsey Honors Scholarship.
