ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  If you have dreams of becoming a star... Saturday is your chance to go for it.  The Albany Recreation Department is holding the last round of Albany Star tryouts before finals in October.

People eight years old and up can perform for judges to see if they've got what it takes to be named Albany Star.

"Tomorrow we have the final qualifying round for Albany Star at 4, from 4-7 at Veteran's Amphitheater. We need participants. We'd love to have people come out and show off their talent," said Parks and Recreation Director Suzanne Davis.

The competition starts at four. If you want to showcase your talent, get there early so you can sign up. Finals will be held October 30th.
