Albany-- Albany's new stadium should be ready when the Albany State football players take the field for their Homecoming Game this fall.
Construction on the building started three weeks ago. The facility is smaller than planned because not all of the ten million dollars needed to build it was raised.
The Albany Municipal Stadium will seat six thousand, and will cost five and a half million dollars.
It will be shared with ASU and the city, and is expected to open in October.
