ALBANY, GA (WALB) – U.S. News and World Report is out with its annual issue that lists the country's best colleges, and there's good news for some Georgia schools.
In the ranking of the top public regional universities in the south, Valdosta State comes in at number 32. Albany State is ranked 45th. And Georgia Southwestern is number 46.
Among national public universities, Georgia Tech is ranked 8th, Georgia is 18th, and Georgia Southern is listed among the best second tier universities.
