Darton returns just four starters from last year's team including all-region sweeper Matias Aristegui. Coach Sasnett is excited about his incoming freshman class and several transfers who he knows are going to need some time to become a team.
ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Darton College knows the road to the region championship runs through Georgia Perimeter.Cavaliers coach Bart Sasnett knows his program is gaining on the Jaguars who are ranked second in the nation in preseason polls.
Bart Sasnett said. "We have the talent but the tactical awareness we are lacking because they are so young. Technically the talent is there. It is going to take a lot of time and a lot of games under our belt before we get it right."
Darton opens their regular season at home on August 29th against USC-Salkehatchie.
