Man awaiting service dog dies

By Cade Fowler - bio | email

ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Two weeks ago we introduced you to Stephen Moncus. He suffered from severe seizures and was raising money to buy a service dog to help with his disability

Sadly, Stephen died Tuesday afternoon. He was 34 years old.

Earlier this month we interviewed Stephen when Applebee's restaurant in Albany teamed up with Paws with a Cause to raise $10,000 so he could purchase a service dog which would have assisted in getting help when he suffered a seizure.

Unfortunately, he never got that dog. But his family says he would have wanted others in need to have one.

You can make a donation to Paws with a Cause in Stephen's name by clicking here.
