ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A chain reaction crash snarled rush hour Tuesday afternoon in Albany. At least five cars were involved in the wreck which happened around 6:00 near Clark Avenue and Tuner Field Road.

Witnesses tell us at least one of the cars involved left the scene of the wreck before police got there. We did speak with a Tuner Job Corps supervisor who says a van carrying eight job corps students was involved.

"Right now we're concerned with the condition of the students," said Job Corps Center, John Gulley. "There were no major injuries."

Traffic had to be diverted for about half an hour. Police have not told us what caused the crash.
