Committee will review Baker County Sheriff

May 29, 2003

Albany - Governor Sonny Perdue will soon decide who will review the Baker County Sheriff's situation.

Sheriff Isaac Anderson is accused of hindering an investigation and lying to federal agents. On Monday, Perdue can legally start the process of forming a committee to review Anderson.

The committee, consisting of the Attorney General and two sheriffs, will decide whether Anderson stays in office.

Once a committee is in place, they will have 14 days to make a decision.
