Blakely-- A Blakely woman is in critical condition tonight after being rescued from a house fire.
Her house on Palmetto Avenue in Blakely was damaged by fire Tuesday night. 78-year-old Vera Jackson was pulled from the flames. She has second degree burns over 40 percent of her body. She is being treated at the Augusta Burn Center. Her sister, 73-year-old Bessie Ross, died in the fire.
