OCILLA, GA (WALB) – The GBI made an arrest Monday in a 5-year-old Ocilla murder case.

Agents charged 28-year-old Anthony Thomas for the March 2005 shooting death of then 20-year-old Reggie O'Neal.

Investigators say Thomas barged into the Nautica Hot Spot Game Room in Ocilla where he fatally shot O'Neal and wounded another man.

Thomas, who had long been a suspect in the case, was sent to prison shortly after the shooting for a probation revocation, but was released in September.

He was being held in the Coffee County Jail when investigators served him with murder warrants after new information developed in the case.
