VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - 39 year old Chris Edwards is charged with possession and manufacturing methamphetamine, manufacturing meth within 1,000 feet of a public park, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

A Valdosta Police Department Narcotics detective found Edwards acting erratically Sunday night in the 2100 block of Hillcrest Drive.

He later told the officer he had ingested meth.

A search of Edwards' home revealed ingredients and supplies used to manufacture meth along with small amounts of the drug.
