ALBANY, GA (WALB) – 36-year-old Shawn Reddish was arrested Friday and charged with theft by taking and theft by deception, both felonies.
City officials say Reddish had asked a contractor working at the airport for scrap metal they had left over, and used some of the metal for airport projects.
But Police say he took some of the metal and sold it, pocketing the money.
Reddish was released from jail on bond, and has been suspended with pay.
