CORDELE, GA (WALB) - A Florida man is in the Crisp County Jail after the sheriff's office busted him for having thousands of dollars worth of powerful pain pills.
Crisp County Sheriff Donnie Harrelson says Cpl. Ben Bray pulled over 33-year-old Travis Pitts for speeding on I-75.
The deputy searched Pitt's car and found more than 600 pills of Xanax, OxyContin, and oxycodone hidden under the hood.
They also found drugs on Pitts. The total value is more than $23,000. Police charged Pitts with possession with intent to distribute.
