ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany neighborhood came together today in an effort to cut down on crime. Community Builders hosted a neighborhood watch in the southside off Madison drive.

Performers and speakers wanted to get a message across. The goal is to equip kids for the future by teaching them crime is not the way to succeed.

All kinds of fun and games were provided for kids. Organizers say they will do everything they can to keep children on the right track.

Several law enforcement divisions, including the sheriff's office and APD were out supporting the cause.
