ALBANY, GA (WALB) –   An Albany swimming pool business manager says she was really scared when a man wearing a knife on his belt intimidated her into giving him money.

Kathy McCorkle says Wednesday afternoon a man and woman came into Homestead Pools office on Flint Avenue, and told her they needed $40.00.

McCorkle said the man had a large knife on his belt, and he and the woman got up close to her and demanded money until she gave it to them.

McCorkle says several other business owners in the area say the couple have done the same to them.

Albany Police are investigating the case as a robbery by intimidation.
