THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) –  Authorities in Thomas County say Moultrie man rammed his pickup into drug agents and tried swallowing a bag of crack cocaine during a drug bust.

Drug agents say 39-year old Lyndon Bernard Seay was trying to deliver the crack cocaine to a home in Coolidge when they surrounded his 2000 Chevrolet Z-71 pickup truck. They say Seay was completely boxed in, but that didn't stop him from trying to get away.

"We saw him do a motion like he was going to slam it in reverse. At which time he, at a high rate of speed, backed into the front of one of our vehicles," said Thomas County Narcotics Commander Kevin Lee.

Seay is charged with three counts of aggravated assault to arresting officers, cocaine possession with intent to distribute and attempting to elude a police officer. He remains in the Thomas County Jail without bond.
