March for Jesus

May 28, 2003

Albany - Every year thousands of people worldwide gather to celebrate their relationship with God at the annual March for Jesus, and this year will be no different. This years march will begin at nine a.m. at Veteran's Memorial Park Saturday, June seventh.

The non-denominational assembly emphasizes unity as the body of Christ and not as individual sects within Christianity. As march organizer Livingston W. Fulton says, "It's not a denominational thing, it's not a racial thing, it's absolutely a Jesus thing. So we want the Body involved and actually to be a live participant."

The march in Albany is expected to draw people from South Georgia, North Florida, and West Alabama.
