DOUGHERTY COUNTY, GA (WALB) – WALB News 10 is at the scene of a motorcycle/truck crash in Dougherty County.
We're still gathering details, but we know the wreck happened around 10:30 Thursday night at the intersection of County Line Road and U.S. Highway 82 in Acree.
Officials tell us the pickup truck driver was traveling on County Line Road. He stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with U.S. Highway 82, but didn't see the motorcyclist. The man on the motorcycle slammed into the truck, and was later transported to Phoebe Putney Hospital. We're not sure of his condition right now. The two people in the truck weren't injured.
Traffic was diverted, but both roads are open now. People who live in the area say they're concerned about the dangerous intersection. We'll have the latest on this story Friday on Today in Georgia.
