On Friday, Aug. 13, the City of Valdosta Engineering Department will close the northbound outside lane of Bemiss Road, from Ledgedale Circle to Pineview Drive, to allow contractors to complete utility construction work.
The work is expected to begin at 8 a.m. and be completed by 5 p.m.
Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in this area or to avoid the area by traveling an alternate route.
