LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - The L.C. Sharks are back home after winning a national championship in youth soccer.

The Sharks defeated the Bath Ohio Wild Kittens at Disney's Wild World of Sports ten days ago to win the 12 and under 3V3 national championship.

The national championship soccer team was honored by the Lee County Commission at their Tuesday night meeting.

The girls are coached by Robbie and Jody Brogden and Lennis Price.
