Sycamore-- The Sycamore cop who took his police car joy-riding had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

27-year-old Shannon Shockley is facing DUI charges after crashing a Sycamore police car while off-duty May 6th. A city employee says Shockley has not yet received his termination papers...but is expected to soon. Shockley's blood test results were .20, more than twice the legal limit. He is still at the Turner County Jail, and is expected to go before a judge in the next few weeks.
