ALBANY, GA (WALB) - River Pointe's Sonny Skinner is off to Wisconsin to tee it up in the PGA Championship this week.

Skinner earned his second trip to the final major on golf's annual schedule with a second place finish in the PGA National Championship earlier this summer.

After taking a couple of weeks off, Skinner tuned up for his PGA Championship at the Georgia Open this past weekend in Savannah.

Sonny says the Savannah Harbor Club course is a challenge but nothing like he and golf's best will face this week at Whistling Strait.

Sonny S

kinner said. "Whistling Strait is one of the most intimidating courses you will eve look at much less play. I love the challenge. If there is a weakness, it will be exposed and I am sure there are some that will be exposed."

The PGA Championship starts Thursday.
