"It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Nancy Barineau, a first-grade teacher at West Bainbridge Elementary, passed away this morning as result of a one car automobile accident. Ms. Barineau was a veteran teacher of 23 years and had been with the Decatur County School System for nine years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Ms. Barineau as they continue to deal with this tragic loss.
