SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) – Violent crimes like murder is why law enforcers in neighboring Worth County are building bridges in the community.

On Friday first responders, including Warwick, Poulan, and Sylvester Police, hosted the county's national night out at Jeffords Park.

There was free food, games Music, and more. Organizers say they're happy with the large turnout, hundreds of people showed up for the event.

This is the first time Worth County agencies participated in the national crime fighting effort.
