OCILLA, GA (WALB) –Police in Ocilla need your help catching a man they say broke into a business and stole checks.

He's wanted on two counts of first degree forgery and theft by receiving stolen property. Police say Paul Cook is wanted in the burglary of Ocilla Tire and Auto.

The office manager says the burglar cut the lock off the door but it wasn't until they started making deposits that they noticed $600.00 dollars were missing.

"The first thing we noticed that wasn't our signature that signed those checks, we didn't know a Paul Cook so that's the first thing we started checking into there," said Todd Williams, Office Manager at Ocilla Tire and Auto.

If you have any idea where Paul Cook might be call the Ocilla Police department at 468-7494.
