VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) –Repair work continued today after a train derailed Thursday night in Valdosta.

Workers were out Thursday repairing the tracks and cleaning up. Around eight Wednesday night, four cars jumped the tracks near the intersection of Saint Augustine Road and West Savannah Avenue.

Three of the CSX cars contained corn. The other one was empty. CSX is investigating how the train derailed.

No injuries were reported.
