ALBANY, GA (WALB) – In a full-blown case of 'Bustermania,' more than a hundred Lee Countians will travel to Atlanta Friday to cheer on hometown hero Buster Posey at Turner Field.
The group practiced cheers this afternoon at Leesburg First United Methodist Church.
These conflicted Braves fans will be cheering for Posey as he makes his first trip to Atlanta as a star rookie for the San Francisco Giants.
The group bought 60 tickets, and the church is taking a bus load to Friday's game.
"We're going to cheer for Buster when he gets up to play, but its up to the individual but some are going to yell for the Braves otherwise," said Posey Fans Organizer Opal Cannon.
"The reason were going is to see Buster because he's such a great role model for them to look up to and emulate," said his Former Teacher Debbie Bruner.
"I've been working a lot and my dad said if I wanted a Buster Posey shirt I have to earn it and I've been working all summer for it," said #1 Posey Fan Reagan Harrell.
The group will load their signs on the bus tomorrow at 2:00 to head to the game.
