ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After seeing pictures of the wreck it's hard to imagine the motorcyclist is okay.

Police say Raymond Segrest ran a red light as he drove his Chevrolet Blazer north on Slappey Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.

Philip Thomas was riding his motorcycle west on 8th Avenue. Police say he jumped off just before the SUV struck his bike.

One witness told us it's not the first frightening motorcycle crash he's seen.

"It's disturbing," said Lewis King. "It's a big reminder that everybody else has to pay attention also."

Thomas suffered only minor injuries.
