LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A single car wreck late Tuesday afternoon in Lee County sent a woman and child to the hospital.

State troopers say Dawn Howard was driving east on Cedric street at about 4:15 when she lost control of her Ford Edge.

She drove off the road, hit an embankment, causing her car to go airborne and roll onto its roof. EMS crews took Howard and the little girl to the hospital.

Their injuries aren't life threatening. Troopers say the young girl was properly restrained in her car seat.
