ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Lee County Authorities revoked the bond of an Albany man charged with gunning down an Albany business owner during an armed robbery.

Twenty year old Jordan Harris was free on bond awaiting trial for several armed robberies and was supposed to be on house arrest. Harris was wearing the ankle bracelet Lee County had installed by a private monitoring company when police say he shot P&P Garden and Hardware Center owner Walter Phelps July third.

Last week, Harris was indicted for an armed robbery in Lee County. He remains in the Dougherty County Jail charged with aggravated assault and armed robbery in the attack at the hardware store. If released, Lee County would pick him up and jail him for violating his bond.
