ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Area students will head back to school soon and with no tax free holiday this year parents are looking for savings for all the necessities.

This weekend the Albany Mall held a back-to-school fashion show, they want to let families know about their back-to-school savings.

40-models from age five and up showed of smart styles for this season, including uniforms.

Since there will be no state sales tax holiday this year, Albany Mall wants to help families find ways to get prepared for school and still stay in their budget.

Their Better than Tax Free weekends will happen August 6-8 and 13-15. Shoppers can save 10 percent or more at participating retailers, and receive mall gift cars.
