COOK COUNTY, GA (WALB) – We now know the name of the boy accidentally shot and killed by his older brother Wednesday.
Investigators say 13-year-old Thomas Venable and his 14-year-old brother got a loaded gun out of a safe at their house on Hemp Spring Circle in Cook County.
Thomas was shot in the face.
The surviving brother is charged with misdemeanor involuntary manslaughter.
