ALBANY, GA (WALB) –  Early voting for Georgia's run-off election begins Monday across the state.

In Dougherty County voting will only take place in the elections office. Those wanting to cast a ballot in the runoff can do so Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There are run-offs on both the republican and democratic ballots.

Run off election day is August 10th and you must vote the same party you did in the primary.

"If you voted in the primary election you have to vote the same party for the runoff, however you didn't vote in the primary then you have to chose a party to vote for the runoff," said Tekita Honer, Dougherty County Elections Office.

There will be no voting the Monday before election day. Election official hope the turn out will be better than the primaries.
