ALBANY, GA (WALB) – The American Red Cross hopes you'll donate blood for a chance to win a car. The Red Cross is giving away a 2011 Ford Fiesta to one lucky donor.
Every time you give blood or platelets, you can enter that information on the red cross racing website and be entered to win the car.
Suzann McNair said, "It's just the summer months, people have vacation going on, other things planned and blood donation falls to the bottom of the list, so it's just to kind of rev things up and get people out to donate."
The promotion runs through November 1st. In addition to the car, the red cross is giving away other prizes to encourage donors to give.
