LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WALB) –A Lowndes County man troopers suspect had been drinking was killed in a crash late Tuesday night.

68-year-old Charles Bland was headed east on Highway 376 around 11 o'clock.

He ran off the road just past Corbett Road Southeast, went through a ditch, and hit a tree.

The trailblazer he was driving overturned on the driver's side.

Troopers say Bland was not wearing a seat belt.
