THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) –  Thomasville Police and the GBI are investigating the death of 15-year-old Christopher "Chris" Crumby.

Crumby's body was found in the 800 block of Fletcher Street lying near a sidewalk.

Authorities say the teenager appeared to have a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS transported the victim to Archbold Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
