Fourth arrest made in Phelps shooting

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -   Jordan Harris, age 20, was taken into custody about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon, in the Armed Robbery/shooting at P & P Garden and Hardware Center on North Slappey on July third.  

He was arrested at an apartment in the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue.

Harris was charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a firearm During a Crime, and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and then transported to the Dougherty County Jail.

Tuesday, police charged 19-year old Ezekiel James and 20-year old Jamon Carter with armed robbery, aggravated assault, and theft by receiving, but police won't say what role they played in Phelps shooting.

Gloria Davis Carter, Jamon's mother is charged with evidence tampering, but police wouldn't elaborate.

Walter Phelps is recovering from his bullet wound.
