HAWKINSVILLE, GA (WALB) - The Joiner brothers have the Southwest Georgia team in the hunt for the Georgia State Golf Association Junior Sectional Challenge in Hawkinsville.
Tyler Joiner shot a 70 to share the lead in the 13 and under age group.
Older brother Jacob leads the 15 and under boys with a 72.
The Southwest Georgia team trails Northwest Georgia by just a half point in the team competition.
Quitman's Carilee Hiers is one shot off the lead in the girls 17 and under group.
The final round is Wednesday.
