LAKE PARK, GA (WALB) –Kids in Lake Park are learning all about respect and living right.

Monday close to 50 kids ages five to 16 learned about eating healthy and exercising at a church camp.

The two-day camp also includes lessons about saying no to drugs.

Organizers say the camp also helps prepare students for the school year.

"If they respect they're going to get respect," said Ethel Martin, the camp organizer. "It just goes hand in hand."

"I learn to respect others and that you can go farther in life by not doing drugs," said Franchesta Foster, a camper.

King Solomon Missionary Baptist has hosted Life Step camp for six years.
